I have a Genie HR22-2429AD1C. In Network Setup, I have DHCP Enabled and receiving an IP address from my wired router. I have an internet on all devices in network. I can view this device in my Routers setup of known devices. Just recently On the Genie in Network Service it says I am connected to the internet but it cannot start network services error 202? I also get an error watching TV where it says it cannot record a program from On Demand and to try later.

First off, ignore the Network Services situation, that will auto connect over time.  How long has it been since you networked the HR22?  Using it's remote press the dash button.  Does the resulting message indicate Internet connected?  If so, and if it's been a day or more since you networked, open the DVR's Guide and go to channel 1239 and select a music program and set it to download.  Within a minute the red record light on the DVR should come on and the program should show in your "List" with a progress bar.  If all that occurs, your system is set up properly and when selecting programs to download, you must make certain they are from a channel that is part of your programming package.

 

A side note.  The term "Genie" only refers to the HR34 and HR44 five channel DVR's.  You HR22 is referred to a HD DVR.

My bad. I meant to say that I have a Genie Model:HR44-500.

The pop up error message has stopped. And I am able to record programs again. So, I guess it fixed itself.
